a documentary film about a charming and ambitious young couple, Ivan and Ivana, who were forced to flee their war-torn homeland of Kosovo for asylum in the United States. Arriving by chance in sunny San Diego amidst a dramatically different visual and cultural landscape, they embrace their new American dream. Over time, Ivan and Ivana's lives oscillate between prosperity and loss as the film traces their cultural, economic, and emotional tribulations over several years.
